@ Phil Angel - I was fortunate enough to have flown in a Javelin whilst serving in the RAF in the Far East in the 60's, a Hunter and a Lightning in the 70's whilst on secondment in Kuwait. All three 'jollies' I hasten to add were as a 'passenger'... still, not to be sniffed at. Also had a go in the Kuwait Air Force Lightning simulator which, in itself, was a fantastic experience.

As I started my RAF service in Bomber Command, I'm looking forward very much to the second part - the V Force. When you see the size of the 'stand-off missile' it will make you wonder how the aircraft were able to take-off. Somewhere I have a photo of a Vulcan with the Blue Steel stand-off missile sitting alongside. Will try to find it and post on this thread ASAP.
