Black-tailed godwits

We are coming close to the end of summer and the migration is ramping up, peak will is during first half of September exactly when depending on prevailing winds. End August is usually good for Black-tailed godwits which can be seen in good numbers if you are at the right place. They are wary though and you need patience and endurance. I installed myself lying on the shore under a camo net as close to water as possible and finally got a few photos which I am rather pleased with. The one in flight was a lucky shot, S-AF and 1/400s, eeek...

I think I got the AF calibration right.

Thanks for looking
Tord
