Be careful, if you try this. It's important that the reflection is darker than the sky otherwise it will look un-natural. Also, I think the dark base helps the composition.


I often make selective adjustments, by using the dodge and burn tools in the Photoshop tools palette. Use very small values of adjustment (around 5%) and work gently on parts of the image that you feel should be brightened or suppressed.
