They do alright around here & not just from my hand outs. They pinched all the oranges off our tree too.

The afternoon sun can look good for these sorts of shots if a suitable angle & sufficient lens hood is used. Thanks.

BTW, I have taken some photos with the 35mm macro lens very nicely on the E-M5 too (as well as the 14-54 lens) & will post some photos when I sort them out.

Ha ha. No, just Christmas lights that stayed up there. I should take them down now they don't work (& chewed up a little).
