Exiftool is very powerful and straightforward to use for the kind of simple changes your have mentioned.
You can change value(s) on all the images within a folder (and it's subfolders) with just one line of script once you have opened the command line window.

There is comprehensive help info including video tutorials & a forum accessible from the Exiftool website.

Also listed on the 'Resources' tab on this website is a Lightroom plugin called "LensTagger" which appears to do exactly what you require - for details see:

I realise this is not suitable for Olympus Viewer3, but then again if you are processing a serious number of images Lightroom might be a worthwhile step up on OV3 - at least you won't fall asleep waiting for your changes to take effect
