Very glad that’s sorted, Paul.

Interesting point about having a laptop & cable when travelling - I’ve always travelled extremely light before, often with an iPhone as my only ‘device’, but being able to do a factory reset and reload of settings is a useful advantage if you were in the sticks for a week or two, and being able to review images on a large screen is very useful sometimes.

Amazon are currently selling titchy refurbished Lenovo 12” SSD laptops with Windows 10 Pro for around £200.

These clever little computer-cameras do throw some weird brain farts sometimes. Using the focus point track pad on the flipped-out screen, every now and again I find the pad switches to what I call ‘TLR mode’.
In other words, dragging your finger to top right moves the focus to bottom left. Only cured by a battery-out reset. I’ve had this happen on both my M1ii bodies, fortunately only rarely. Weird.
