Re: 60mm f2.8mm cracked plastic

I assume it must be out of warranty by now, but have you phoned Olympus to see if it's one of the lenses where they offer a fixed price repair?

Re: Slime Mould Mucilago crustacea

Just quoted that as either he or the host had it on the opening slide.
apparently 12 years into taking the photos, and he's still not got enough for his proposed book yet.

Re: Slime Mould Mucilago crustacea

Cheers Harold, I suspect i may be too close then.

Re: Slime Mould Mucilago crustacea

Harold, I do like the photos that you post, but what's the knack to getting your brain to see the 3D image.

Re: Election Vote

And so they should be;
It used to be an accepted part of the job, that a senior politician expose themselves to probing and tenacious journalism in exploration of their proposed policies.

Much as...

Re: Boris Gate

I thought I'd left this thread, but couldn't let this go unchallenged.

I'll stand to be corrected, but it's my understanding that this is a myth deliberately spread as anti-EU propaganda.
I'm...

Re: Election Vote

I was planning to avoid these overtly political threads on a camera forum, however here goes;

I'd urge anyone to vote, even if it's for the best worst option (what ever that is from their own...

Re: Boris Gate

I chose old links deliberately, as I'm sure you'd sussed. ;)
I would contend that both persons mentioned were genuinely, arguably for good reasons, fairly staunchly remain at the time; they then...

Re: External SSD drive

Yes you're quite correct; I hadn't realised the time of day when I posted and had to curtail as I was due out for lunch.

There are a number of "go-faster" stand-alone utilities which some folks...

I can see you might find that biased, though I personally more or less agree with the article.

To bring it back to "Boris Gate"

Perhaps this article in the Telegraph...

I'd suggest that an election would only restore some semblance of democracy if, unlike the referendum, iton...

Re: Olympus developing a new 500mm lens?

He traded in both the body and the Tamron and bought an E-M1 Mk2 plus 300mm F4 and 1.4TC. I think he's...
