Re: A Vivitar 28 mm f2.5 surprise...:)

You should consider some of the older glass ! I've been using it on digital since my Sony A100 DSLR ( mostly Tamron Adaptall ). A lot of fun - depends on your style of photography ;) Also the cost...

Re: Buying into another system

There have been rumours......the ONLY thing that would tempt me to upgrade from my E-P5 would be an Olympus FF. And that would be a few years after it got released- if that ever happens ;)

I love Leccie :) also love the outdoors and wild-camping, but sometimes one feels the need to go on EHU. Best of both worlds :)

Re: New descriptions for old concepts....

I believe that technically " off-grid " means not connected to the National grid for electricity. So I guess having one's own generator as in wind-power and-or solar panels. However have heard the...

A Vivitar 28 mm f2.5 surprise...:)

Since receiving my beautiful E-P5 courtesy of Steve ( Ricoh ) :) I've been really getting back into manual focus with the older lenses - they were always a bit unbalanced on the tiny E-PM2. Got a...

Re: Legacy macro lenses

I recommend the Micro Nikkor 55mm f3.5 however it's longer and heavier than the OM 50mm macro. From my perspective both similar quality optically.

Re: Focus assist Magnification range-driving me nuts !

Thanks for that- it seems a logical explanation as everything was X 2 out. I'd been fiddling with settings for a couple of days and I knew it was something I'd inadvertently changed. Didn't really...

Focus assist Magnification range-driving me nuts !

I'm used to using the Magnify focus assist on the E-PM2 and works a treat for old lenses. I'm a bit stuck with the E-P5 in that the range of magnification appears to be X 2.5- 7.I know it should go...

Re: Finally got it :)

I love my E-PM2 regards it's functions and features. It will still be used but more as a " compact" probably with the Pana 14mm pancake. Sometimes I found the body a tad small especially when paired...
