Re: Lifes Milestones. . .

We've had exactly the same problem as you, except that it was in the kitchen!

We could hear the hiss of a water leak and a check on the meter overnight showed that it had leaked 380 litres. It's a...

Re: First one for some while

No it wouldn't! ;)

(It's mono anyway - yellow! But perhaps you mean black and white, rather than yellow and white.)

I was at Greenham Common in the 80s when women's groups from all over the country converged on the base and cut the fence down. There was miles of fence laid flat with the nuclear missile base...

Re: Venomous Snake Show (lots of photos).

We've only got three snakes in mainland U.K. (there are none in Northern Ireland, and none in Ireland). Only one, the Adder is venomous.

I like snakes!

Re: Jensen Interceptor

'Wikipedia-ing' shows that it used a 'sprag' clutch. The Westland Wessex helicopter used two Gnome H1200s gas turbines coupled to a common gearbox with sprag clutches. There was a strict procedure...

Re: Jensen Interceptor

In real terms petrol was never 'dirt cheap'. I friend of mine had a Jaguar 3.8 in the 60s, but got rid of it because of the fuel costs.

I thought that VW only 'cheated' on the emissions of diesel...

Re: Opinions on Sony WF-1000X In-Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

Thanks for the replies.

I've gone off the Sony's. There are an awful lot of 'like new' ones on Ebay, which suggest that there are a lot of returns and user dissatisfaction. I also share Mark's...

Re: Opinions on Sony WF-1000X In-Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
