Re: One a day

Nice! I've tried a 365 - and failed. It's not easy. Helps to have things around the house you can make interesting photos of.

Re: Say Hello to The Bund

Oops - yes I meant Texture slider. Seems to do very similar things to the Stricture sliders found in Capture One and Snapseed.

Re: Jammed lens hood on the f4 300mmPro

When applying for a Chinese visa,...

Re: Campus censorship ‘an epidemic’ at UK universities?

Overall, I think the problem is massively overblown by the wrong, the far wrong and the alt-wrong, who seem to have some kind of bee in their bonnet regarding freedom of expression. I'm not sure why...

Re: Rumors: Olympus to shut down camera division in less than 8 months

Rumours like these leave me conflicted, which may well be their purpose. On the one hand, they might have a fair basis. On the other, they might be malicious. A malicious rumour could be hugely...

Re: Rumors: Olympus to shut down camera division in less than 8 months

I already have a Sony A7II kit to accompany my Olympus stuff, so no worries in terms of having something with a future. Oddly enough, Mr. Gear Head doesn't 'arf fancy the Canon M6 Mk II, but it's...

Re: Olympus OI share

I always use Easy Setup - swipe up the icon for switching the camera off, select easy setup and then scan. You then just take a photo of the QR code displayed on the camera. It's never easy or...

Re: Rumors: Olympus to shut down camera division in less than 8 months

Oops - I've just posted the same thing in the lounge. I don't want to be negative, but the harsh reality is we have a lot of camera manufacturers and a shrinking user base (especially in the West). ...

Hey - E-Fin have pulled all Olympus Gear

I was ruminating over the 17mm f1.8 vs the Leica 15mm over the last week. Both reasonably priced on E-Fin. I took another look at their site last night and they’ve gone from selling lots of Olympus...

Re: Workspace with Panny RAW files

Re: Tirana

Nice photos. It’s a city that’s on my todo list if not be bucket list. A couple of people where I work have holidayed at one of Albania’s resorts and really enjoyed the place.
