Re: 12-100 or 12-200?

Am a 12-100 PRO owner and it is one of the best lenses out there. Did get to try the 12-200 for several hours on a photo walk around Bristol courtesy of Clifton Cameras- used it on an EM1 2. I liked...

Re: E-M1X preview sessions

Ross,

Ah bags.......do not get me started! I went through a phase with bags. Now I merely use `non specialist` shoulder bags that do not shout `expensive camera within`. I have a couple and swap...

Fairford riat 2018

Just a few from the RIAT at Fairford this year. Oly 75-300 used, one day on an EM1 Mk 2, the other on a Pen F when I was with my partner and photography took second place!

Yes! I have a Seniors railcard (60 or or over) and it provides a tremendous saving. If you travel with a companion a Two Together card is also worth getting.

Pen F if funds allow- wonderful `feel good` camera, a joy to use. I did own an EPL series camera with an add-on viewfinder which I also loved.

Re: mFT choice

Roger,

Pen F does have focus peaking. A gorgeous if expensive camera. To be honest, I prefer some of its control inputs to that of my EM1 Mk 2- its easier to use in some ways. A brilliant camera....

Iso,

Agreed, a slightly misleading title. They do of course have exhibits relating to the entire history of the company, including Gamecock and Gladiator.

Re: Has the 12-100 replaced your 12-40 / 12-35?

I do have both. The 12-40 came with the Mk2 when I got it. Love it and in particular the 2.8 speed end.Did some organised night shoots with it and was very happy.

The 12-100 is a gem too. Heavier...
