That magnify setting is a godsend, helped me get focus spot on...thanks to all for that setting.

Currently in live composite mode, inadvertently put it in live bulb but also noticed somehow images were almost like daylight even though dark.

I think I'll end up swapping out the 100-400 for the 300 f4, I have the teleconvertor if needed as well.

I guess the 300 f4 is the step to take at the moment - if a further step is required then...

Hi,

I think I realise that I am going to have to go down a heavy lens but just not sure which way to jump until explored all avenues.

The sigma looks good but is f6.3 same as my panasonic...

Superb image, but I was looking at images of say south stack Anglesey and the near rocks, stairs were in focus as is the light house itself and that is what I was trying to recreate.

That is superb what you have done with the last photo, I have a number of shots that are hazy and I've just deleted them but at least now I know I can rescue them.
