Re: Nearly New E620 twin lens camera kit

That one from Kenz is slung round my neck as I type, and the actual marks on the screen are even less noticable than Ken suggested.

Glad I got the kit from Ken - happy with E620 & both lenses,...

60 for the red one. Call me vain, but mine had to be black/grey.

Thanks for the heads up. *chr

Re: Any Of You Outdoorsy Guys Out There Use Rab Clothing?

If the a**e looks big (are we really not allowed to use the real version of a**e?), it's probably because of one of these two reasons: 1. It is big, as confucius indeed says, or 2. Our pants are too...

Re: Any Of You Outdoorsy Guys Out There Use Rab Clothing?

Me too.

Ian, not sure how you interpreted any of this as fashion tips? It was a query about outdoor wet-weather gear, and thankfully - and as I expected - most replies focus on the functionality...

Re: Bottlenosed Dolphin

Dolphins are fast!

I'm far from in a position to offer useful CC, but if you were in a boat (which I presume were, given that you're close enough to be at 79mm?), you did very well to get the...

Any Of You Outdoorsy Guys Out There Use Rab Clothing?

My employer was kind enough to let me select foul weather gear of my own choice as my PPE.

After a lot of searching & browsing & querying, and looking at a lot of the obvious contenders - TNF,...

Re: New Bag - Final Answer . . .

That guy sent me a few pics of his RS pack, and it was enough to sway me - drinks could (just about) fit in the side mesh pockets.

So I hit the RS website to place my order, but there was no...

Re: E5 "weatherproofing"

I actually meant to get my wifes E-410 professionally serviced/cleaned before I gave it back to her, but never got round to it.

I'm a handy guy - built my own extension, replaced suspension &...

Re: E5 "weatherproofing"

FWIW, my wife's E-410 has had two big spots in the viewfinder for ages - maybe over a year. Not visible in LiveView, doesn't appear on photos.

Would prefer they weren't there, but is there really...

Re: Sigma 50-500mm - What Sort Of Price For Used?

Fate often has a way of sorting things out for us, steering us in the right direction - the Bigma I was watching has sold.

I think she's telling me, "not your time, Mark".

Or maybe Friday was...

Wouldn't be going near that for 1205. Seems that lens is in Cork...

450? I'm impressed, but I simply don't have even that. It's my birthday this week - anyone feeling generous? ;)

Re: E620 Kit

E-620 & two lenses arrived today, safe & sound.

I doubt the factory packes them better for shipping than Ken did.

All working fine, and very pleased with the lot.

Ken, thanks for your...

Re: Sigma 50-500mm - What Sort Of Price For Used?

I actually originally posted this just to ask what the going price was for these, seeing as one came up reasonably near me, rather than actually actively looking for one. I think a mod may have...

Re: Pivked Up A Genuine Oly BLS-1 & Charger Today

Mods, can you move this to an apropriate forum, to prevent further confusion - perhaps E-600/620, or Accessory Talk?

Also, could you correct my mis-spelled "Picked" in the title?

TBH, I may not...

Re: E-620 Twin lens kit

Hi Philip,

Best bet is to keep your eye on the for sale forum on here & on Fourthirdsuser. 620s come up fairly regularly.

If another E-3 comes up for 300, as I spotted happened a few weeks...

Nope - "Found" in the title.

Just posted to share my good fortune.

Do you think I should have posted in another forum?

Pivked Up A Genuine Oly BLS-1 & Charger Today

"Picked" up, of course... fat fingers...

For €10. :D

HLD-5 will be loaded with two genuine Oly batteries. Probly doesn't matter a fig, but it sounds nice.

Re: New Bag - Final Answer . . .

My camera & binoculars will spend the whole day slung from the shoulder straps of the pack, for use at an...

Re: For sale Oly HLD-5 Grip + Oly E620 Accessory pack+battery

Just had a look on the HLD-5 shop page, and it does say "Available in 14 Days", so stock seems to fluctuate quite a bit - you got yours, then out of stock, then I got mine, and now out of stock...

It'd take one of the bigger lotto wins for me to even consider it, but I wonder how many people actually own such an expensive lens. And what would they use it for? Wildlife...

Re: Sigma 50-500mm - What Sort Of Price For Used?

So 675 isn't particularly a bargain?

If I got too excited to resist the chance to get one, what price should I feel was a bargain to walk away having spent - anything under 500? 550?

Before...

Hi Graham,

Mine were shipped late last week.

I bought two (at 11.99 each) to avail of the free shipping (which they honoured...
