Re: Leaked - EM5 mklll

"Full specs" leaked apparently.

USB charging is nice - as is Phase Detect and Contrast Detect - nothing much else jumps at me.

Re: Jessops in trouble - again

Re: September 2019 Challenge: Landscape

Congratulations Stoates, great image.

Thanks to those who voted for me, I was really lucky to be in the right place at the right time - went to speak to a man about a shed, not take any...

Re: Panasonic Leica 15mm 1.7 Lens

FWIW I am the AVForums member who recommended this one to Worz.

We both have the same user names there too.
I can't vouch for him/her from a trading perspective but a registration of 14 yrs and...

Re: E-M10 shutter repair

I had the E-M10 Mki and the Mkii is a very worthy replacement. Better stabilisation and EVF and the changes to the buttons and handling make it nicer to use too.
My Mki went to my brother in law...

Re: F Stop.............!!

Just curious as to why you’d got the settings you had.
As I said I normally shoot P and scroll from there if needed.
Some of my odder results have been inadvertently leaving A or S mode settings...

Re: Continious Bolt

I'm glad it was interesting. I've played with it in the past when I've had people moving through panoramas while I was shooting. It can do a good job of removing things, I guess all the programming...

Re: Registering olympus cameras

FWIW - I used to have to scan receipts for expenses on a flat bed - slow and boring. Times moved on and I discovered that a quick photograph with my iPhone was just as acceptable.
Now I use an app...

Re: Berlin 2019

Looks like the BMW was doing the same, there wasn't much room in front of them to pass. Slightly odd. I saw one other Trabant which was in motion but too far off to snap. I truly terrible bit of...

Re: Af target are problem

On the E-M10ii there are three modes for the touchscreen - touch to focus, touch to focus & shoot and off.
All of those are disabled if you have the EVF active and the screen off.

There is also...

Re: How best to expose a sunset without a graduated filter?

There aren't many controls -

- Auto Align is pretty obvious and helps if you've not used a tripod
- Auto Tone - have a play but I think you need it on based on a quick experiment.
- Deghost...

Re: How best to expose a sunset without a graduated filter?

I can't tell much difference between 2 and 4 - 4 is perhaps a little more natural because you haven't used a Lightroom grad on the sky.
I don't mind a slightly accentuated gradient in the sky - it...

Re: Computer screens

FWIW I use an LG IPS235 which is a few years old.
It was allegedly colour calibrated before it left the factory which I understand isn't the end of the process as light colour and level in the room...
