Re: Advice please! 75 - 300 versions I and II

Thanks to you both for excellent advice.

I'm certainly keeping the lens - as Simon has pointed out, it's a 'cracker' and whichever way you look at it, I certainly got a bargain. As for the...

Advice please! 75 - 300 versions I and II

Re: DPR Camera of the Year

Thanks for the link.

However, by reading some of the extraordinary comments that have been made on that forum, I've just broken one of my new year resolutions, which was to stop wasting time...

Re: Sunrise over Rame Head

Very nice picture - the missing horizon hidden by the looming cloud out at sea gives a sense of foreboding.

Hope all is as well as it can be in your part of the world today.

Re: Adobe Elements & Premier Elements 11

Many thanks for posting - I had plenty of gift certificate credit at Amazon due to trading in some unwanted academic books and was wondering how to spend it!

I expect I'll need to learn a fair...

Re: E-PM1 Is this a bargain?

It's certainly a fair price, but the E-PM1 can be found with fairly hefty discounts from various sources at the moment, so it's not particularly unusual either.

Jessops have the twin lens kit for...

Re: "...flying 6 feet apart at 400mph..."

Thanks to both of you for the comments - glad you like these! And Birdboy, you are absolutely right, the canikon users don't seem to even register that you are using an E-P3 any more than they would...

Re: Family portrait, just for fun

I absolutely agree - a fantastic picture with real warmth in evidence. I like the way the lady seated on the right (of the picture) is having her glasses adjusted by the baby and trying to ignore it....

Re: Three ways

The natural greens in the first couple are great, as you say. Sorry - no idea of the true identity though .

Re: Bargain twin lens EPM1 at Jessops

Personally, I am capable of taking truly awful pictures with any camera, no matter how good. At least if it's an Olympus I know the colours will be great in my awful picture!

More seriously - you...
