Re: Computer choice Mac or PC

Indeed they are, and it would certainly seem the computer is more important to some people the amount of time they spend on them in forums, photoshopping etc. rather than out taking pictures - I just...

Re: Computer choice Mac or PC

Yawn.... Have we finished this now? Thought this was an Olympus 4/3 / M4/3 forum not a Mac/Windows/VHS/Betamax slagging match!?!?

Re: Which bag to take

The Hadley Pro won't work, I have it for my OM-D and M4/3 kit, the new Hadley Pro Large would work though ... Yummm

Re: Small single target AF point

I thought I saw a thread a while ago which talked about this on EM-1 and someone said the EM-5 did have one - or is that wishful thinking for me?

Re: Panasonic 12-35 at MBP

Nah - not everyone - but surely those who have went for the Oly Pro 12-40mm f2.8 lens which blows the Panny version out of the water...*shrug

Re: L Bracket

I've searched for this as well for the E-M5 and the only place I found was RRS in the US at exorbitant prices. I shoot a lot of landscapes and jumping between portrait and lnandscape more often than...

Re: MindShift Gear to Release rotation180 Panorama Rotating Backpack

If you look on the same site at the pro version which is already out it will give you an idea of the size and features. A bit big for our M4/3 gear in my opinion, unless you wanted to take everything...

Re: Super FP Mode with OM-D E-M5

Indeed Ian, any HSS flash just keeps pumping out lower powered continuous lighting for as long as the shutter is open so you get the "sync" at any shutter speed.

Will TTL and HSS work with a canon lead as well?

Re: Super FP Mode with OM-D E-M5

I have the Metz 50-AF1 and it supports ETTL and HSS on both Panasonic and Oly cameras where they do. It works fine. This is indeed in the manual the last time I checked, maybe I wasn't looking for it...

Re: Do Olympus Cameras really need washing

Surely no worse than Olympus visionaries "washing" the E-M5 under a waterfall when that came out...?

Re: EM 1 updates?

Not sure why you'd want a pro body like the E-M1 to have a built in ND filter like the X100's of this world, Zach Arias may think the Fuji means that DSLR's are dead for him, but I bet he still...

Re: Tempting the Panny users...

Would be awesome to get slightly better button layout in the E-M5 sized body, with the C/PDAF focus system and better EVF, but I can't see the E-M6/7 being all that, it wouldn't make sense to get...

Tempting the Panny users...

Quite a few posts on the rival Panasonic Lumix G Experience site (which I'm a member of due to my earlier adoption of the Panny G3 and lenses) which are disappointed with the EVF on the new flagship...

Re: C-AF on M4/3 lenses

The C-AF performance when I had a to at the Brick Lane event was streets ahead of my E-M5 on M4/3 lenses, but nothing so challenging as BIF, so if that's all you want it for then you're better off...

Re: C-AF on M4/3 lenses

It's an interesting analogy but if your super high performance F1 car overheats or hits a rut in the road it can land you back in the garage and an early bath. Not so an E-M1 or a D4 methinks.
