Re: Slimming down - gauging interest...

Love the humour gents...

The 75 1.8 makes a great telephoto walkabout and is good for concerts etc in poor light. Highly recommended.

Re: Best 25mm choice

The Panasonic Leica 1.4 has a very awkward square hood which does not reverse fit for storage. I found it a nuisance.

Re: Olympus IS-3000

I had one of those as my last film camera before getting an E20. Never really liked it as it always felt a bit loosely put together. However, it saved carry a bag of lenses when the children were...

I've got a spare FL50R that is only very lightly used which I was going to put up on ebay. It is mint, with box, instructions, pouch case and diffuser. Let me know if interested.

Re: Looking for help pricing my E5 kit to sell

I agree. Sell the E5 for an EM1-ii with MMF3 and maybe the 12-60 for a 12-40 m4/3 then do the rest in stages when you have the money. I moved from an E5 but have kept the 50 f2 macro as it works...

Re: Loose SD card door

That's helpful. I'm currently in the Caribbean and with, how do I put it, "sticky sweaty" hands, I'm finding the outer door moves with my hand grip. I've not noticed this at home yet.

Loose SD card door

Currently using my E-M1 Mk 2 for the first extended period of time while on holiday. The SD card door seems to rock to and fro quite a bit on the grip. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Re: 20% off all Oly Lenses at Park Cameras

True, but that's still a lot of wedge for a prime. Tempted, but the cost to trade in my PL25/1.4 is a big jump up.

Enjoy the lens though!

Re: Confirmed: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Will Start Shipping in Early December

Remember the pound is plummeting so all kit will cost more soon. I've just had a work computer purchase blocked as Lenovo has put the price up due to the fall in Sterling.

Re: Rumoured E-M1 ii launch next week

I still have a couple of 4/3 lenses I don't intend to trade for m4/3. Does the new E-M1ii support 4/3 like the mk1. There appears to be no mention in the publicity unless I've missed it.

Re: FT Olympus 7-14mm f4.0

Nice lens. Am in a similar position and thinking of selling mine and moving to the m43 version. Been watching prices. One went for 330 on eBay last week and another unsold on 400. Your price...

Re: Oly 7-14 PRO, sent back.

I'm considering p/x ing my 4/3 7-14 for the new m4/3 version to save weight. I'd only have the 50mmf2 left and would leave my MMF-3 permanently attached to that. Have any of you moved from the 4/3...

They've always been good for me. Invariably I come back from holiday missing a hot shoe cover or similar and they are great for all sorts of small parts.

Re: Panny 7-14 arrived.

Dave

Kind of depends on how much I'd get. A couple of them have just gone for about 520 on eBay, but then there's fees etc. LCE in Bath would do a P/X but not sure yet how much I'd get going...

Re: Panny 7-14 arrived.

Has anyone on here moved from the 4/3 7-14 to the new m4/3 7-14 Pro? Is it worth the expense for the compact size and losing the MMF3? A big cost to change, but am gradually moving lenses over to...
