This one is (dare I admit...

Re: Happy Birthday Anne 30-04-2019

Yes, they (and we) are of the vintage of the sixties Beatles and going back even further, growing up in the UK, I and most of my friends, were of two camps - Cliff Richard or Elvis! I was definitely...

Re: Red Kite (again)

Hello Mark - I guess my thoughts could well be summed up as 'confused.com' (apologies for the steal!) but I am undecided. I feel that as I am already using a lens I am pretty happy with, I need to...

Re: Red Kite (again)

Haha, Mark - no, I don't have an E-M1X my choice, as I have never added a battery pack to previous cameras and I would definitely struggle with the latest model, weight wise!

However, we have...

Re: Red Kite - caught in the act!

Thanks Jim - I am pretty sure it is moss and at first my thoughts were that it was nest building but I am equally sure that Red Kites do not build with moss as smaller birds do - they normally make...

So glad you have posted these pictures and look forward...

Re: Chesham's Tribute

I can relate to the greater part of your post, Jim, but I do not wear a poppy to demonstrate that I have given money, more to be able to walk along the High Street without being stopped again by the...

Re: Red Kite - soaring high in the sun!

Thank you for your critique, Mark!

The 40-150mm is really good for birding, especially with the converter taking it to 210mm. I am finding the old knees and hips playing up a bit nowadays and the...
