You run the risk of some lateral sheering because the silent shutter is not 'global' (data is read off the sensor line by line and very fast moving action will be distorted).

In my household we have both the 100-400 Panasonic and the 300 m.Zuiko

The 100-400 is not mine however I have used/borrowed it at several occasions. The lens is half a year old or so...

I always print my work on a variety of Hahnemuhle Papers the quality is stunning and the paper is expensive but if you want the best then be prepared to pay the price. They produce A3. A4 and 12x12...

EV depends on the sky/lighting at the time and probably many other factors - try a few shots & check your histogram at the start of the show. You can probably get away with same setting throughout...

Any trip to NYMR should include a trip to Whitby whilst in the area. They look dark to me too but more like some HDR processing has gone on than any intrinsic lack of light in the image.
