Re: HDR Question

I don't believe it!!:D How can you align hand held images. You MUST use a tripod!! You can get very good results with a single RAW file if you develop +/- 2 stops or even +/-1. Personally I think...

Re: wired secondary flash

I have tried optical slaves with my FL-36 off camera using the E-330 built in flash as a trigger. The FL-36 does not trigger lots of optical slaves. I think it because they take their power from the...

Re: Tripod quick release adapter

My point is that the Cullman and possibly others will fit any tripod. I use mine on a Slik 88 I bought in 1988. Great tripod still available as Slik Master Classic. :D The Benbo adapter is a similar...

Re: So what made you Choose Olympus then?

To be fair Currys can be good value if you time it right. I bought my E-300 from them about 4 years ago, it was the best deal for miles at the time. I bought a 14-42 from Park Camera a while ago I...

Re: E-330 afficionados - for sale on eBay

Interestingly this was a scam the listing is now gone. I think it was incompetence more than criminality.

Re: What is the point...

This site was created by Ian supported by Olympus. He had already created FTU and DP now. I guess the existence of two similar sites is a problem I still look at both but the Olympus sponsorship is...

Re: Using standard lenses for macro work (Ex-25?)

I'm glad you got one at this price. I don't think you could get an equivalent lens anywhere else for the money. These kind of bargains come and go. Hopefully this is one of the benefits of this...

Re: Using standard lenses for macro work (Ex-25?)

Sigma claim in the manual that this is a better compromise than designing a lens with built in macro. I sold the close up with the lens because it was in a case designed to hold both. The 75-250 was...

I use up to 100 with 1.2 pixels. Mostly I sharpen in PSE6 Unsharp Mask.

Re: Oly bags

Why should rechargables not work on FL-50. My FL-36 works fine with 2 NiMH batteries. It also works fine with Litium and Alkaline.

Re: Photomatix?

I have tried generating tiffs in Lightroom but I still find the patterning in the HDR. I have to say the more HDr files I see generated by software the less I like them. I think the control you can...
