Re: Boris Gate

Having the 'Letwin Amendment' go through and Johnson stating that he would break the law by not writing a letter to Brussels, I was hoping that someone would propose a 'Dead in a Ditch*' amendment!

Re: Boris Gate

He stated that he'd got a deal between the U.K. and the E.U., but he hadn't. He'd agreed a deal between him and the E.U. The deal will only be between the U.K. and the E.U. if it gets through...

Re: E-M5 III reviews

Complaints about a camera being too small beat me!

I'm 6' 4.5" with a hand span 1/4 meter (250mm), yet I can handle my E-P5 easily!

How big are the hands of those that would find an E-P5 too...

Re: E-M5 III reviews

I don't really see that.

I have an E-P5 that I use with my old 4/3rds lenses. With a big camera relative to the lens you hold the camera and support the lens. With a small camera and big lens,...

Re: Calibrating monitor(s)

Having calibrated your monitor, you then need to calibrate your printer to produce a profile.
The procedure used on the ColorMunki (I expect the Spyder to be similar) is basically that you produce a...

Re: Jessops in trouble - again

My memories of the park go back to the late forties and over the years it has steadily become more heavily used and in many areas the wear shows.

The pond is now filled with green pea soup - or...

Re: Jessops in trouble - again

That's all there is to be envious of Watford. For years the town planners have been trying to make it 'The Slough of Hertfordshire'!

The only reason that John Betjeman wrote "Come friendly bombs...

Re: Calibrating monitor(s)

Hmm, I'll try later on my W10 machine.

I will say that calibrating the screen on my Linux laptop with DisplayCal and my Colormunki, has transformed the display. I've never bothered before, but now...

Re: Car modifications - is it or isn't it?

The warning notices on motorways are pretty much discredited and ignored, because they're rarely updated as soon as the need for a warning has long gone. There may be fog on a motorway and a warning...
