The centre is +ve as per my write up. To verify, see the diagram on the HLD-9 itself.

The last thing you need to check is the polarity of the connection. It's pretty much standard that the centre pin of the power plug is +ve and the sleeve is -ve but I have seen some equipment wired...

The Olympus AC-5 adaptor supplies 9V at 5A, that's 45W, I hardly think that the OM-D E-M1 Mark II uses anywhere near that power, even at maximum load. I don't have a Mk.II camera but looking at...
