I have received a complaint about this thread. Reading through the thread it seems to swing wildly from open dissent to sweetness and light.

Please think carefully about what you write.

A server reboot will be required - possibly in the next hour.

This will shut the site down for a few minutes.

Re: Workspace with Panny RAW files

SilkyPix used to be (still is?) bundled with Panasonic Lumix cameras but the last time I used it I found it very difficult to use. I'm sure it includes excellent profiles for use with Panasonic...

Re: Windows 10

Unix-derived operating systems like Ubuntu are all very well but they occupy a microscopic segment of the market because there is no large scale coordinated commercial backing.

It's quite small so I wouldn't venture from too far just for this but if you are in London already I'd...

Olympus' novel Centenary celebration!

Olympus has opened a short exhibition in London to mark its centenary and the way they did it was rather novel - get four Olympus pros to photograph subjects 100+ in age around the country.

Re: Jessops in trouble - again

I hope that the business can be restructured again, with profitable stores retained but we don't know the extent of the problem. But it looks like that's the end of Peter Jones' project.
