Re: LEGENDS........of the automotive kind

You have captured the action really well in this set. It is certainly a colourful (and no doubt noisy) event.

Re: Donington Historic Festival 2014 with the EM-1

Mike

All handheld, can never get on with a monopod. Shutter speed was typically 1/160 although I did go down to 1/100 and up to 1/200.

I've done f1 cars in the past and never had any real...

Re: Cold day at Donnington

All nice sharp images but it is expected at the shutter speed you have used. Sorry but to me the cars just look parked on the track, no motion.

The camera will struggle to focus using multiple...

Re: Dust behind focusing screen

Mike, I've cleaned my E-3. It's not really any different to the E-1. A steady hand and suitable tweezers sees the job done, but not for the faint-hearted, and don't touch it with your fingers. The...

Re: Dust behind focusing screen

Better to be safe than sorry. Unless you have steady hands that are like ferrets and nerves of steel then I'd advise sending it off for repair. Unlike the e-1 it isn't quite an easy task. Sometimes...

Re: Is there a soundproof room where I can scream, scream, scream?

Ah yes, the "full frame of what?" question. Logically, if used as a general photographic term, it must relate to the largest standard commercially produced format, which I believe is 10x8 inches.

Re: where would you get one of these...Large eye cup

I bought one for my E-1 from Bristol Cameras, 21.50 delivered, in 2-3 days.

Re: where would you get one of these...Large eye cup

This is the Olympus EP-2 eyecup and quite a few places have them in stock from 20 - 30.
Warehouse Express, Park Cameras, Bristol Cameras, etc.
It's an excellent eyecup, as it locks on to the...

He is certainly more popular than Lulu is with me at the...
