Re: Boris Gate

I'm tempted to say let's go with this proposed deal, as the lesser of the evils. A hard, no deal Brexit doesn't bear thinking about. Mind you, this latest proposal still doesn't resolve the Irish...

Re: No-Deal Brixit: Insurance & Travel

At a time when MPs of all political leanings are receiving serious death threats I don't think flippant comments like this are appropriate. This is not how we do democracy in our country and I hope...

Re: Plague on the planet

If we really are serious about saving the planet, tourism is one of the unnecessary luxuries that we will have to sacrifice. It will make life far less enjoyable for most of us and cause serious...

Re: The Buachaille in morning light

I have learnt over the years that this is all part of the natural Scottish euphemism:-

"The ridge is a bit airy" = knife edge with 3000ft exposure either side.

"It's a bit damp today" = ...

Re: Could do with some guidance.

Also, in theory there is quite an overlap between the 9-18mm and the 12-60mm, but in practice the extra 3mm at the wide end of the 9-18mm makes a huge difference when you want to go really wide, much...

Re: Boris Gate

Boris is demanding 100% support from not just his cabinet but from every conservative MP. I can't help thinking how different things might have been if he had shown the same loyalty to David Cameron...
