The advantage of -2 is that the subject can go...

Quick grab shot this morning with the 300 and MC-20. Windy and overcast so had to bump ISO up to 2000. Hand held f11 inclusive & 1/200th. Looks very promising.

Re: New MC 20 announced.

So just going through what this does:

40-150 f2.8
40-150 f2.8 + MC 14 becomes 56-210 f4
40-150 f2.8 + MC 20 becomes 80-300 f5.6

300 f4
300 f4 + MC 14 becomes 420 f5.6

Re: v3 Firmware for mk2 - updates for mk2, m1x and lenses

Re: 300mm F4 Tripod Mount Screw Hole question

I believe it is for an anti rotation pin that is a throw back to when big cameras were carried on tripods and they could come loose. Also to stop rotation on the tripod with rapid panning.

Re: 40-150mm f2.8 Pro lens foot..

Ditto, lens bought June 2018.

I noticed a few days ago that the difference between a 40-150mm f2.8 and same lens with a 1.4x TC was only 50, when the MC-14 costs 249 by itself.
