Re: A Sun Kissed Grevillia.

Re: A Sun Kissed Grevillia.

It’s an odd looking plant. I like it and these photos. I also like the processing - I have the Sony Only version of C1 and have been very impressed with its output compared to Lightroom.

Re: Yesteryear's Wheels.

Lovely set Ross.

Re: Getting a Little Steamed Up!

Nice shots of a very powerful locomotive. Built 1954 by Beyer Peacock & Co Manchester for the NSW Goverment Railway. Nice to see it restored and operating. It's simply called running round when the...

Re: Bridges across untroubled waters.

Nice clear photo Ross. Not sure what holds up the nearest bridge, looks like its floating on the air. I am about to receive a 2nd hand 7-14mm Pro, so look forward to using it soon. Mind, its gotta...

Re: A Noisy Miner (Aussie bird).

Great pics Ross. Those noisy little birdies (who deserve their name) are constantly in competition with rainbow lorikeets for the blooms of the banksia in my front yard.

PS: No 3 is also my...

Re: Another Orchid - "Dockrillia striolata"

I think that the last British Ghost (Epipogium aphyllum) was seen in Herefordshire in 2009, the previous sighting having been in 1982. There are sites in Switzerland where this species is...

Re: Another Orchid - "Dockrillia striolata"

Many thanks for your clarification. I use stacking frequently for my flower photos and find it very effective - worth a try, in my opinion, especially since you have all the relevant kit.

The...

Re: Conflicting Info from Olympus re 3 Year Extended Warranty

He was telling us about the original E-M1 which he had. The E-M1 II has had no reports of the problem, we can safely assume they fixed it.

Re: Many gifts for her!

I'd get a smack in the teeth if I proffered a broken plastic clothes peg to my partner as a gift! ;)

Fantastic to get such an exotic and iconic bird in your garden, Ross!
