Re: Pinch my nipples

Here's the comment from the second complainant:-

Whilst I found this joke, and others in the same light, funny I feel that they are getting borderline and could easily be offensive to the less...

Re: Pinch my nipples

OK, I have the permission of one of the complainants to quote their messages.

Original message:-

Hi John, I like a good joke & sometimes I let myself have a laugh at some gutter humour, but...

Re: Pinch my nipples

Not very good at reading the warning signs are you, Chevvy. Ironically I have deliberately kept this thread open because I don't want to over-regulate this forum, yet you seem determined to force me...

Exclamation Re: Pinch my nipples

Re: Pinch my nipples

One complainant contacted me by private message and another through the Reported Post facility. This tells me that they wish to remain anonymous and I will always respect that wish, which is also...

Re: Pinch my nipples

Maybe this is why........

Mentioning private parts probably isn't the issue here, but describing stimulation of those parts for sexual pleasure maybe is. Just the same as a nude...

Re: Thanks StephenL, welcome Graham of Rainham

In case you've not picked up the drift, I have resigned as a Moderator. Not because Graham's joined, I hasten to add! But because I feel that it could be interpreted by some that there is a conflict...

I'd like to sincerely thank Stephen for all the help and support he has given me during his time as a fellow moderator. At the same time I'd also like to warmly welcome Graham to our small team. *chr

Re: Oh dear - I had a play with the Fuji XT1 today...

Can we all settle down? My biggest worry is being fit enough to get out to take photographs, meanwhile I am on here most of the day linking or reading from like minded camera owning friends. From...

Re: Where are you Chevvyf1?

The problem is that some people, be they innocently or otherwise, post comments that generate frustration and unhappiness in many other active members here. In the case of Chevvy there is no doubt...

Re: Best way to compare IQ?

Sorry we do not cater for your needs, but do I detect a bit of format snobbery? No one here is suggesting that M4/3 equals FF but users tend to have different priorities. As you say, it is what it...

Re: Oh dear - I had a play with the Fuji XT1 today...

Mark, would it really be doing ourselves or Olympus any favours if we stuck our heads in the sand and didn't demand a performance from our cameras to match the competition? Would draconian censorship...

Aftermath of the "Is this forum good enough to pay membership on" thread

Re: Advice needed on lock up

I suspect the adjustments are modifications to internal parameters that control the behaviour of the camera. These are sometimes available through hidden service menus, and not intended for end users...

You've got my sympathies too. I'd have been as disgruntled as you. I think they need to pull out a few stops now. I hope Ian and Mark are keeping an eye on this thread.

Re: Advice needed on lock up

Personally I would feel exactly the same way, especially having just got the repaired camera back. Not communicating with you, to mind, is rude and treating you with disdain. Grumps unite!

Re: Advice needed on lock up

All the indications on the lock-ups seem to point to software glitches (no pattern to what users were doing, resolved by a reboot). These cameras run complex real time embedded operating systems...
