Re: Third party batteries for the EM1ii (and EM1X)

Yes it is. I didn't note how long it took to charge and in any case the batteries are part charged on arrival. I get a sense it takes longer than with an Oly one, but can't be sure. That may be...

Re: Lowepro 450 AW

I had a Lowepro shoulder bag for an E500. I was walking in the Cairngorms with it in rain. I thought 'No problem, I'll use the AW cover feature!'. When I got back to camp, the case had an inch of...

So the same basic premise as before... but with a bit more information, all at approximately 6m (5.95-6.05):

7,5mm to 600mm = 80x optical zoom (with bit of intervention)
EDIT: I forgot to put...

Re: External power EM-1 and EM-5

The 1.7A version of the AC-1 will not deliver enough current for the E-M5. The latest EXPRO AC-1 is rated at 2.5A and is close enough to the 3A rating of the official Olympus AC-3. The AC-5 is a 5A...

Re: Is the Nokia 9 a game changer

It obviously can't do the depth of field stuff or auto focussing when used as a digiscope, but you still have the opportunity to use either a single colour camera or indeed a single mono. Same...

Re: Olympus 150-400 Rumour

Hmmm,

Given its shown at 250mm and there's no hint of an extension of the lens - it presumably is an internal zoom mechanism, then it's not "that" much longer than the Panny at 400 - its a fair...
