It's a very lovely lens. It's small and the brilliance of Panny to standardize that filter thread size from 12-35/2.8 to 35-100/2.8 and 100-300. So you need only to invest in one set of filters...

I use silent shutter most of the time, but switch to mechanical on occasion and have had no issues.

I upgraded because the MKi was limiting my photography, the MKii - I'm limiting it! ;)
