Re: Looking for help pricing my E5 kit to sell

I'm with the "sell it in stages" brigade - I still use my 4/3 Oly 9-18 and my 4/3 Oly 50-200 on my EM1(i). I didn't get their equivalent in m4/3 as I think I've not used them enough, if you get what...

Re: Four-third kit for sale

It'll need an adapter, Rebnats. Your EM10ii is (newer) m4/3, this gear is (older) 4/3.

Re: A snap off a bridge...

Thanks for sharing - nice idea !

My suggestion - use the station components as the frame, and crop out everything that has been decapitated: the person and the upright becoming the limits of the...

Re: 15mm f8 body cap lens any one?

I'm coming a bit late to the party, I see, but anyway ... sniping aside ...

I have the EM5 (and some other bodies, including Canon FF - but you didn't come here to hear about Canon, or,...

Re: Olympus Four Thirds ZD 7-14mm f4.0

I've tried the 7-14 for a few hours, and it's quite big ! And my 4/3 9-18 doesn't get enough use these days - 12mm seems wide enough for me most of the time. The 4/3 7-14 does give very lovely...

Re: Flickr

I don't know of any way of merging accounts, sorry.

I use multiple Flickr accounts for different photographic purposes - why not make one non-Pro, and use it for photos for a specific purpose ?

Re: A few favourites from my recent Artic Cruise

I've logged into Flickr, and they're not visible there, either. "No public photos".

I particularly like the three boats shot - nice composition and use of colours / contrast.

Re: E520 - stick, wait or upgrade now?

The Oly 45/1.8 is lighter and smaller than the Sigma 60/2.8, but NOT cheaper (as you state above). Oly 45 ~175 new; Sigma 60 ~120 new. And neither is a big lens. The Sigma actually feels more...

Re: Olympus E-M5 Mark ii Camera (Black)

Wow ! I like to try different lenses, too, but generally hang onto them. Maybe I should try moving dust-gathering stuff on ...

I've not tried the Oly 17mm 1.8 four times this year, and five...

Re: Trading on the e-group forum

We do have the occasional policeperson who is not a Mod rather spoiling the mood with open-thread and somewhat unfounded accusations. But, generally, it's okay if you buy; you can be prodded a bit...

Re: Idea of prices please ??

Depending on condition, you'll probably get around or maybe a bit less than the following:

I have 2x EM5 bodies one black the other silver £350-400
2x HLD-6 £80-100
1 Panasonic Lumix G...

Re: Which crop do you prefer?

Re: Diffraction??

Lovely images both.

But, sorry, I immediately saw the doubling in the first.

My guess is reflections - maybe try to duplicate the conditions and try with / without the filter.

Are there...

Re: Olympus E-510 kit - Price Reduced for quick sale

A bump for you: the lenses must be good for £80-100; so the E510 with image stabilisation and live view for £70-50 seems a good deal to me, too :-) And a bag !

Re: Unhappy with moon shots

Your shot is underexposed. I can't detect any motion blur, nor should I at 1/640, so it's probably not quite in focus, although the limb (rim) doesn't look soft. Try again, as Greytop suggests,...

Re: My Baby

Pretty fab - I'd suggest shaving off the left side, to remove the distracting grass highlight top left, and make the hound more central and "direct". The rest looks fine on this monitor = woof !
