The purple one grows, of its own volition, in our garden every year and the Toadflax Brocade Moth lays eggs on some plants.It is a summer species and is probably coming to an end now.

Larva of Buff-tip Moth Phalera bucephala

I came across a colony in a wood during a fungus survey in 2017. I was convinced that I had posted the images but they were still stored only as RAW files....

In File Menu Select Left/Right Image

In Stereo menu select side by side*

In View menu select fit to window.

If it doesn't look right try View menu Swap Left/Right

Common Earth-ball Scleroderma citrinum

This globular fungus fruiting body is often seen on the ground, occasionally on rotting stumps,in organically rich woodland.

Nice one. It could be even better if:

a) you cropped both images to make the subject at the same level.

b) you subdued that highlight.


a) is easiest done by auto adjust in Stereo Photo...

This rotting tree stump had some fruiting bodies of a slime mould and of a mushroom

The mushroom, the Sulphur Tuft Hypholoma fasciculare is common on rotting stumps...
