I had the E-M10 Mki and the Mkii is a very worthy replacement. Better stabilisation and EVF and the changes to the buttons and handling make it nicer to use too.

Steve, no need to send it in, send Olympus support an email, they are very helpfull, they'll send you a fixed price quote, i imagine the price quoted will be based on the model you want repairing.

FWIW the 17mm f1.8 has the focus clutch and works with peaking on my em10ii.
It’s the lens ive used at the last two weddings I’ve been to as a guest only.

You might want to try using PIPP (Planetary Image Pre Processor) to automatically align and crop you images. Its free and its really easy to use. It doesn't stack though so you still need Registax...

I tend crop/manually align each frame in CaptureOne before processing each as a Tiff and importing into Registax.
Registax also aligns within certain parameters.

The latest versions of LR/PS actually do make big use use of GPU's in graphics cards. Especially when applying filters etc, so they do make a difference to performance when editing.
