Re: EM 1 updates?

Not sure why you'd want a pro body like the E-M1 to have a built in ND filter like the X100's of this world, Zach Arias may think the Fuji means that DSLR's are dead for him, but I bet he still...

Re: C-AF on M4/3 lenses

Just found this post from Robin Wong on his test of the C-AF with the new M4/3 lens - check his third test with the roller skater - they can move pretty fast coming down that ramp!

Re: C-AF on M4/3 lenses

It's an interesting analogy but if your super high performance F1 car overheats or hits a rut in the road it can land you back in the garage and an early bath. Not so an E-M1 or a D4 methinks.

Re: advice on lenses .... I'm New!

Ian I think it's the 14-150 not the 40-150, but still the former is a great budget lens which I use for a walkabout travel lens all the time. I'ts much better than the original Panny 14-140 - so much...

Re: Splash proof!

There was a video of the EM-5 being immersed in a waterfall and it survived that, so I'm thinking that blurs the lines a little...

Re: Mirror less cameras and off camera Flash

Bit disappointed when I saw it - you can attach a radio trigger to your camera and use it to remote shoot your flash - really?

Re: New m4/3 camera

I think the new M4/3 bodies are getting there, especially with faster SS (1/8000) which allow us to use those lovely super fast prime lenses on a sunny day without resorting to ND filters or fancy...

Re: I Love the 60mm macro

Several of the early reviews of the 60mm macro (I assume we're talking the new M4/3 version?) demonstrated how great it was combined with the OM-D IBIS and high ISO capability. Still wanting...

Re: 799 for a 45mm f/1.8?

Not sure why this myth continues about M4/3 not able to do depth of field - on Sunday a very proud mum and dad were at the rugby club to see our son win his player of the season award for his under...

Re: Introduction to video using a stills camera

Phil if you want to shoot dedicated video then a dedicated camera might be the way to go, but as film makers are now using SLR's to make full feature length movies (see Monster by Momentum Films)...

Re: Hahnel battery now available

Just on my first use. It only arrived late last week due to delays at Bristol. It charges fine in the original charger. First time it had some charge in, so I left it on for hours, ran it down...
