Re: Didcot Nov 17th

A very nice set. I like the first a lot. The yawning guy, replete with tin mug and newspaper, makes the scene.

Re: Didcot Nov 17th

Great set, Tim!

Me too - reminds me of Thomas the Tank Engine line up - wonder what they are saying to one another. :D

Re: Didcot Nov 17th

Just what I needed!

We were at a funeral today and I was feeling a little down.

These really lifted my spirits, a really nice set.

Thanks.

Re: Trainspotting

I've yet to visit the Gloucs and Warks line but from thos pics it looks worth a trip. I hate to be pedantic but none of those locos is actually a Deltic, but the Class 37 in pic 6 is certainly...

Re: Hendon

I hope you meant waist turret (although having read of the likelihood of survival in one of them, perhaps you were right)!

Re: Tamron 14-150 3.5-5.8 di 111

Re: Tamron 14-150 3.5-5.8 di 111

I've got one and fairly happy with it. There are several reviews on the web that a quick Google will throw up. It's not quite in the class of Olympus and Panasonic equivalents, but is a lot cheaper....

I like a good steam railway. Numbers 2, 3 and 9 stand out as iconic shots.

Re: Thoughts on 45mm 1.8 m43?

A couple of travel photographers I know who use m4/3, have a 12-40 or 12-35 f2.8 zoom for their walkabout lens, but carry the tiny 45 f1.8 in the pocket for ‘street portraits’ of people. It allows a...

At certain points, specific functions and...
