Ah I see, the old "should I/shouldn't I use a protctive filter" debate. :)

Unfortunately for a long FL lens a polarizer is probably, IMHO the least apropriate choice of filter for protection.

If you set the EVF to Auto it will automatically switch the EVF on when you put your eye to the VF and off again when you remove your eye.

Yes and the AF target setting information is also on p48 of the E-M5 MKII manual. The E-M10 MKII is essentially an E-M5 MKII in a smaller body without weather sealing and with a few minor performance...
