Re: E5 + Lenses

Hi John - if you decide to split up the lot, I'd be interested in the 35-100.

I checked online and found this firm through eBay:

Hi,

I just bought a FL-50R on eBay. It's got everything in the box but missing the lambency diffuser/bounce adapter. The genuine FLBA-1 diffuser seems 10 dearer than the cheapest alternative on...

Re: The red kites at Argaty

A number of my images were overexposed, especially ones with the birds against the overcast sky. I had to reduce the contrast, lift the shadows and reduce the resultant noise. Overall I did fill the...

Amazing clarity and sharpness. Punchy colours too! The combination of Bigma's reach and good light conditions produces amazing results *chr

Re: The red kites at Argaty

I use PSE9. I found that a lot of noise gets generated when I try and compensate for under or over exposure, even by a third of a stop. Cropping seems to generate even more noise  I had to use...

Re: A dozen Kites Flying

The place we visited was a place they feed the red kites every day. The guy who feeds them said that they get 40-50 kites at a time in the peak time during winter. There were about 20 or so of them...

Re: What would you have done?

In the E5, when you hold down the Mode and AF buttons together (on the left of the viewfinder prism), it will bring up the EV bracket option. You can bracket up to 7 frames at differing EV values.

Re: What would you have done?

Nice image alf, pleasing composition *chr

My 2 cents: +/- .7ev 5 frame bracketed exposure and compose an HDR to get the best of the sunset colours and the details of the pier/lighthouse.

Re: Olympus OM-D + Lenses + Extras Only weeks old

If it's only 2 weeks old, you might be able to return it to the merchant as you usually have 2 weeks to cool off. I wouldn't leave it any longer though.
