Proper cars

Couple of cars: the MG (or is a TR) was taken at Marlborough, the Morgan at Combe Martin.

Edit: Posted from Flickr; definitely quite a bit lost in the translation, I can read the registration of the Morgan on Flickr but not as posted here.

Lovely shot of the Morgan combining it with the old houses.

Hi ricoh, really nice photos, I really like no 2 with the stone cottages, the only modern thing in the photo spoils it a little, the double yellow lines, why oh why do the local councils do this, I think it is time to invent something else to replace them, come on you like minded people and come up with some suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks OM User and Raymondo.
Those yellow lines drive me nuts, both photographically, and when trying to park to take a shot. There should be a lay-by for photographers, available to no one else.

Nice.
For my birthday this year my dear lady wife has bought me hire of a Moggie for a couple of days in the autumn: http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/hire/

Much more civilised than thrashing round a windy, wet Silverstone in a Ferrari, dontcha know, old boy, what!

Much agreed Mark.

Re: Proper cars

How odd - I posted a comment...and it's disappeared. So try again!

Yellow lines - cloning brush. For the Moggy, I would either select the car, and adjust brightness/contrast or else turn highlight recovery on. It's a bit over cooked. You'd have a great image then.

Shame the MG's pointing the wrong way.

Re: Proper cars

I'm told the next version of Capture One is going to have specific healing tools for removing yellow lines, parking meters, direction signs, surveillance cameras, PhonesRUs and Starbucks shop fronts, teenagers texting and those huge, nasty 3-wheeled baby buggies that are all the rage.

(Not! But it would be nice)

I've just booked a photo trip to the Outer Hebrides next spring, and I'm hoping by then they'll have released the wind turbine clone tool, too...

Nice pair, #2 could be a contender for B+W?

Oh, I like the B/W conversion. Out of interest how did you get rid if the yellow lines?
Anyone wanting to develop it further, there's a version in Flickr - download it as you wish.

Nice but like the colour best

Re: Proper cars

This is what I would do with it.

Made the car stronger in the image, so your eye goes to it more effectively. I've only done it roughly.
