Thank you Ian. It was definitely a case of being in the right place and at the right time AND having the camera ready. I was walking back to my hotel from a conference centre and decided to take a few shots of the skyscrapers when I spotted the moon and thought it might add some interest so I manoeuvred myself to get it close to the building. I then saw the plane coming across and thought it would be fun to catch the plane passing the moon. I missed that unfortunately, but caught it midway between the moon and the building, which was a reasonable second best!

It's also a great advertisement for the 12-100 lens too. At 12mm it's great for taking in the skyscrapers at their base, but at 100mm it'll manage to get the moon at a reasonable size in the frame. It's not small, but it's an incredibly versatile lens and definitely a lens I'm not going to let go.
