Firth of Forth sunset
 
Here are a couple of shots from a short trip to Queensferry at sunset

Both splendid, but number 1 is special (emotional, even, as symbols of a nation go).

Hard to pick a winner, but I like the textures in the water and sky in #1.

It's a tough choice as I like them both but in the end #1 just edges it for me. Definitely a lovely sunset to see.

Great shots!
I visited North Queensferry on Sunday morning to photograph the bridges (the light wasn't a patch on these).
From one spot 1 got a shot of all three bridges, which made me think.
There's the first bridge, the second & the third, but despite the name there's no Forth!

May i be controversial and say that I prefer no 2, Alf? Only slightly, you understand, both great sunset, but there's something in No 2 that just does it for me.

Thanks Kieth not controvertial for me the 2nd shot came out much better than I expected it to and I very happy with it.
