Re: Battery grip

I had a similar grip for my E510 'cos Oly didn't do one. Compared to the Oly grips they're less substantial and of less streamlined design. Mine worked OK. I know of no reason for not buying one.

Re: Battery grip

I have the Ownuser on a 520 no real issues with it. one minor iritation is the need to plug the grip into the mini usb on the back of the camera which does obscure the down button. only need it plugged in if using the additional shutter releases on the grip, not sure whether it is the same set up on the 400. The grip is well made and works as you would expect., I have the one with the additional Infra Red remote release which is a useful addition

Re: Battery grip

Thinking of buying myself also a Ownuser battery grip for my E420. Reading this tread, i think it is a good addition to buy in the very near future. Especially since I'm into aviation photography 9airplane spotting/spottography):D :)
