MFT Wireless control for PC

Has anyone tried this Camera Control software?

Yes Ivor. I used it occasionally with my E-M1 mk1 not long after it first became available in 2015.
It works well, but unless you particularly want the ability to import RAW files to your PC (WiFi tethering for Lightroom or similar?) or value the larger size image display, I find that the OIshare app running on either my android phone or iPad mini performs pretty much the same function without the need to carry my laptop.

NB: I think the Camera Control user manual is only available in German - I needed to run this through Google Translate in order to resolve some problems when first setting up the WiFi link with the camera.

Thanks, I might give it a try for my studio. I've downloaded it but just wanted to check before install. I have also installed Olympus Capture but haven't tried that yet. It would be cool if that worked wirelessly, but I don't believe it does.

Cheers.

The Olympus Oi share works well with my android tablet and phone.

Thanks! I do have that on my phone and am looking for something similar for my PC. I have an Android emulator on my PC and might give OI go using that.

Cheers,

Ivor

The image transfer speed from both Camera Control & OIshare is rather poor, and in the case of OIshare only JPEGs are transferred by WiFi.
Note that if your camera is normally set to RAW only, whilst OIshare is running it will be in RAW+JPEG mode and the RAW files will be saved to your SD card.

For studio use you may be better served by using a long USB extension cable + your camera's USB cable and the Olympus Capture program on your PC.
