Mist in the lakes

Well it was rather serious fog. When I got up all could see was blue sky but then I looked out of the font of teh house and could see fog si decided to go out.

I was going to go to Latrigg but went to the top of newlands pass and I got this but I reckon catbells would have been better

I moved around a little after that and I bumped into another couple of photographers along the way one who was in this area at Buttermere who also shot these cobewebs

The mist cahnged so much as the sun started to show there were shots all over the place these are just what I have had time to process

Re: Mist in the lakes

#2 and #3 from the first set stand out as you have really captured the mist and a feeling of isolation.

A great set which captures the natural abience beautifully Alf. I like all the shots of the mist but I especially like the second image in the second set with the tree against the sky.

That first one really does it for me, Alf. An absolute corker, and delightfully subtle.

Beautiful Alf, especially the first three. Can't beat mist and low sun for atmosphere!
