When?

I might be even more thick than usual and have missed an important announcement, but is there any news of when we might hear more (including a launch date) for the Olympus micro 4/3?

There seems to be a resounding silence on the subject from this and other forums - so presumably everybody who knows anything has signed an NDA and an announcement is imminent

Re: When?

I think Roger is spot on, silence is golden, and this is the calm before the storm, etc.

I'd say something will be announced before the end of the month.

I also gather from hints on an American site that a major announcement is due in two weeks - probably concerning top end models

Re: When?

Paul was asking about m4/3, all the reports say this won't be released at the PMA show in a couple of weeks more like June or July.

The rumour for PMA is a new 4/3 DSLR above the 520 and below the E30 - announced on the 28th

Re: When?

Having made an announcement about Micro Four Thirds at Photokina, which will be 5 months previous to PMA at the beginning of March, I'd expect some further update from Olympus at PMA - but I have no privileged knowledge on that. I will be at PMA and will be reporting from the show to both DPNow.com and Four Thirds User via their news pages, and I will be posting here with any news as well.

Ian
