Rhoscolyn Beacon
The scenery along the Anglesey Coastal Footpath from Silver Bay to North Stack is truly splendid. Lots of rocky coves with small beaches. The flora on the headlands is a riot of colour in August - with fields of heather and low growing gorse in flower + an abundance of butterflies and other insects.

Re: Rhoscolyn Beacon
The day we were there it rained and the paths were slippery and wet. Nice to see how it can look.

We went there en-famille last week. The scenery was much more varied than I'd been expecting.

Here is a photo of Rhoscolyn Bay (Borthwen) - a picturesque moon-shaped sandy bay which lies just south of the beacon.
The photo I posted a couple of days ago in the thread named 'Bwa Gwyn' was taken approx 1Km to the north.
And for those who wish to practice aviation photography - there's lots of action from RAF Valley which is nearby!
