    Have been interested in photography since school days, worked for a couple of years in photographic retail after studying for a computer science degree, have processed and dark room printed black and white and colour film, and then settled into IT journalism since 1984, going freelance in 1992. Digital imaging became increasing important in my IT coverage and with the expansion of the digital camera market things came full circle.
    Besides photography, travel, food (including cooking), F1 motorsport, family life.
