December's CHALLENGE
The topic to inspire your creative juices this month is BOXES Please don't forget to vote on November's LEAVES challenge and please re-vote if you already did but before the recent forum upgrade.
This Event was set up by Chris Jackson on the Beaurepaire Camera Club site and Chris asked me to post it here for those interested. It is billed as an event for anyone in and around Belper with an interest in the Olympus micro 4/3 system. Krisztina Kobanya from Olympus will do a presentation and session to showcase some Olympus lenses and cameras and explain anything we want to know about Olympus cameras.
It will be held at The Strutts School in Belper on Thursday the 7th of November 2019 at 19:30. I'm sure I'll find out more details nearer the time but if anyone needs more info please post here and I'll find out for you.
The Belper locals are a very friendly bunch and I hope to see a few E-group members there too.
That's why I think we should put the idea into the monthly competition. Users to use a particular function and post it. Unlike some entry level cameras, Olympus cameras throw everything in (including the kitchen sink) and most of us users do not even use half of them.

I know you have mentioned that to me before Henry. But I think it limits the entry of submissions to those who have certain cameras. There is no reason why you cannot use these special functions in a Challenge of the month anyway....
Specifically there were demos of pro capture used on lemon slices dropping into water and live composite for light painting. Very simple to do and extremely effective. Just need to get my a*** in gear and try them out.
