Thank you for your patience this morning. TapaTalk access has been restored.
Looks like Olympus will be offering free camera cleans again this year: "We are offering Olympus photographers our free Clean and Check service on the stand; this is extremely popular so please check in early (on a first come first served basis)."

Now then Ed. What must a boy remember when venturing out into the wider world?

Wallet ( bolted on) passport; money in case wallet absconds. Camera for cleaning. Meet at Olympus at 12:00 . Wear my identity badge.
Do not talk to strangers unless they are grumpy.
More money in case a good deal appears.
Book air tickets early.
Have I forgotten anything?
Hope all well with you are you attending this year.

Full marks there young man
For those who may have forgotten or weren't on the forum at the time a couple of years ago Ed travelled from NI to the NEC only to discoverer he had left his wallet and all money at home! Being inclined to juvenile behaviour I like to remind him of his faux pas.

I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.
How could I forget that incident. We all felt really sorry for Ed but were really glad it didn't happen to us. Nice of you to bring it up Hec Ed I hope you have a great day this year.
What was worse I did not leave my wallet at home but at security in Belfast airport. Lucky enough it was there for collection on my return.
Many thanks Hec for bringing this up ; not.
