    Base ISO 64?

If that 's confirmed here's one happy bunny. Flippy screen, lower base ISO, slightly bigger grip, much improved AF, better batter life albeit completely new batteries.

Looking very good so far as much of my wish list is there.

Sorry Paul. Fully articulated screen but perhaps it can still work in the way you want it to.

ISO 64 equivalent ISO LOW setting
The ISO LOW setting will be equivalent to ISO 64, providing greater flexibility to shoot at wider apertures even in brightly-lit situations, making it possible to achieve beautiful shallow depths-of-field.

there is no bunny in the smilies so you will have to put up with this

All I really need is improved noise and DR. I hope this is not the same 20Mp sensor in the Pen F since that didn't deliver any noticeable improvement over the older 16Mp sensors.

If they manage a true (raw file) 1-stop or better DR and noise improvement then I'll swallow my pride over the swivel screen. For that though I'll have to wait for the reviews to come out. Unless of course Ian can find one for me to review
The hires mode uses the image processor to deal with detail changes inbetween 'takes' but is not designed to work hand-held from what I can see.

1 stop improved dynamic range over the E-M1 sounds good. The menus are a bit different to the Mark 1 but I will have to compare with the Pen-F - I took a few shots of the menus.

The camera itself looks remarkably similar to the Mark 1 from the outside. But yes there is a new grip, sorry folks - but the design is apparently much improved.

The shutter is much more refined and quiet than Mark 1 - much like the E-M5 Mk II.

I am supposing the 18fps is via the mechanical shutter but I could be wrong - getting hard technical infor here tonight is not that easy.

Price:: probably the most important piece of missing information.

4/3 lens prices may steady or go up if the new sensor works out well with them.

Lag free shots sounds interesting, fingers crossed it works with flash.

The changes to focus points and C-AF look very interesting !! Just need to find someway of testing it now.

4k video also has a very sensible bit rate, even if GH5 will out shine it a little in this area.

Hmm well I suspect it will take a few months to start shipping from previous launches so the Photography Show at the NEC should definitely be worth a visit next year.

Having been one of the early sufferers of the E-M1 camera strap lug detachment, one of the interesting external changes for me is the offset location of the camera strap lugs on the new MkII ... and they look a bit more robust. Any hands on opinions about them? A small, slightly random observation but very important for us big lens users!
                                Cheers
