  • Olympus' novel Centenary celebration!

Olympus has opened a short exhibition in London to mark its centenary and the way they did it was rather novel - get four Olympus pros to photograph subjects 100+ in age around the country.

I went to the opening party yesterday. Here is my report if you are interested!

The exhibition closes on Guy Fawkes night (5th November) next week.

Out of interest, is anyone going or happened to have already been to the exhibition.

It's quite small so I wouldn't venture from too far just for this but if you are in London already I'd recommend a look in.

This was outlined in the official Olympus UK magazine commemorating their centenary. This issue is a cracking read. I got mine at the Photography Show in March but it is also available as a download.

Which issue, Dave? Were the photos published in the magazine as far back as that?

By what I have just read, the pictures (6 No.) in that issue are the ones that had been taken up to that point (work in progress I guess). Clearly lots has been done since then.

It is the special Centenary issue 2019 but as far as I can see there is no number. I picked up a couple of copies from the Oly stand at the NEC in March.
